Aveda Institute Chapel Hill

I hate giving bad reviews because everyone at this location is so nice. I’ve had a good experience last week when I had my hair done so I came back to get a pedicure. Unfortunately it was a bad experience and I just wouldn’t want someone to waste good money on a service that is mostly likely going to be a waste of time. My heart is a little broken because I lost money for service that I’m going to have get done somewhere else. . I understand they are students but nothing was really done. Most of nail polish was removed but not completely. There was little nail filing and just a little filing of the bottom of my feet. Oh and there is no place to rest you feet. I had to rest my feet on her legs. It was really awkward and uncomfortable. Also they do not provide any gel color options and the nail polish selection is very limited. This place is great, price is reasonable and the stylist are talented. However, I will limit the service to just hair from now on.

Great experience, pre-Covid was my first time, and that was just as good as this time. Natalie (Nate) was quite good! She took the time to understand what I had in mind, paid attention to trimming detail, friendly, and genuine. She graduates in October, and will absolutely be a value to her next hair salon spot! As for appointment details- I made mine a week out, your greeted with water or their signature tea upon checking in, and the wait time is hardly long until your with your stylist. Very affordable too!

Got my haircut by Natalia P - she was amazing and super friendly! She really made sure she understood what I wanted for my haircut and spent a lot of time styling my curls at the end! I also loved the mini facial option while I getting my hair washed, such a wonderful bonus! I definitely would get my hair cut with her again😊 …

Olivia S. styled and shampooed my hair and she did such an amazing job! She was thoughtful of my time and schedule while still being careful and intentional about doing the best job possible. She was so caring and fun to talk to during the entire session as well ❤️ I will definitely be coming back for any events/prom hair needs! She’s great and I 100% recommend.

Going to the Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill, NC is like going to a retreat center & being pampered! The VERY BEST! August 9 2023 I was able to get another appointment today at Aveda with Akira Prince. My hair was a bit of a disaster since it had grown, was dry from the Summer sun. Akira Prince gave me detailed attention to all my hair issues & I literally came out of Aveda feeling like a totally new person! Akira is attentive to her clients. I highly recommend her! PS Jake, assisted in advice on styling with my thinning hair. Once again great experience at Aveda!!!!
